Learning how to build and fly drones shouldn’t cost you a fortune if it’s done right. With constant efforts to regulate the use of drones in Singapore, we must allow learning to continue within a safe space. ADLABS conducts Drone Programming workshops using Scratch and Python.
Workshops powered by DJI Ryze Tello Drones
DJI Ryze Tello has made it easy and fast for beginners to pick up drone flying very quickly in an indoor environment. Along with fun learning to build and code, these educational drones are all terrific to fly. The Tello platform has an onboard camera to film with and come with software development kits (SDK) for programming.
Here are some functions of our training drone
- Auto take-off & landing
- Low battery protection
- Failsafe protection
- Vision Positioning System
- 720p HD video transmission
- 5-megapixel photos
- 13 minute flight time
- Precise hovering
- Program a swarm of drones
- Mission pads for multiple uses
- Multiple flight modes
- Special development kit (SDK)
Swarm Technology
The Tello is a highly intelligent educational drone. Perhaps, its most amazing intelligent feature is that you can write code to command multiple Tello EDUs to fly in a swarm.
Tello EDU Image Processing & Artificial Intelligence
With the Tello EDU, you can access video streaming data. It also has advanced functions such as object recognition, tracking and 3D reconstruction, computer vision with deep learning technologies. Here at Arrowdynamic Laboratories, we are constantly working on creating new addon learning features and missions to enhance the student’s learning experience.
Workshops are conducted with approval from the authorities. All students will be supervised during their learning.
The workshop has a Scratch / Python option each lasting about 3 hours.
